After a little bit of powder and a large jump with Erik Olson, spring was in full force for Episode 6. I took things easy, tried my hand at Mustache March and let a couple broken ribs heal while LJ Strenio and Ty Barnes flipped and spun their way around The Canyons, Utah. LJ and Andy also hit up an interesting mini road gap feature we discovered in Big Cottonwood Canyon over someones driveway.
A Poor Attempt
The real adventure came next(complete with youtube soundtrack).
After heading South on Interstate 15, about 11.5 hours of desert landscapes stood between us and the Pacific Ocean.
Dogs drive cars in California
We rendezvoused with fresh-off-the-train Garrett Russell at Union Station in Los Angeles and headed for LAX to pick up two new comers to TC, fresh off the plane.
Cole, Master of all things Facebook
Max Hill and Coal Drexler made the transcontinental voyage from Collingwood Ontario all the way to So Cal to ski California’s world famous sun and slush.
After making friends with a pelican, meeting weirdos on Venice Beach, and seeing the Hollywood sign in the fading light, we booked it up to Bear Mountain for the most features in one run ever. We lucked out with four long sunny days at Bear. Our original plan was to head home next, but it was decided to change plane tickets, put off editing and head north to Mammoth. Garrett took us to some strange Volcanic Rock Garden on the way.
