Burrrlapz Releases the First Episode of Their Series

Burrrlapz Vibes and Stuff

Vibes and Stuff is the brainchild of a handful of local Fernie, British Columbia Locals. Last year, they produced a full film that you can see here. Whether jibbing their backyard or lapping big faces, Vibes and Stuff is an unwavering beacon of individuality. Led by Dylan Siggers, Brody Mcskimming, and Powder Cover Boy Josh Mcskimming, Vibes and Stuff offers a glimpse into life in the Northern Rockies set against some classic soul tracks.

Check out the full episode from the Burrrlapz below and get stoked. Celebrate skiing with your friends. That’s what it’s all about anyway, right?

INTRODUCING: Taylor Lundquist

November 20th, 2017 - Posted by willski in LINE Skis News, LINE Team News

Taylor Lundquist joins The LINE Team

Taylor Lundquist Hiking Rails on the All-New Honey Bee

Taylor Lundquist has been holding it down for years in Utah, crushing PC laps and putting in work on the competition circuit with a strong resume as a slopestyle skier. But the best part about Taylor’s skiing — and what really drew our attention — was her style and pursuits beyond the competition realm.

It’s what made her a natural fit for our band of misfits over here at LINE Skis; she’s got a style uniquely all her own and is pushing women’s park skiing in a different direction. We’re a brand steeped in celebration of the oddballs, the weirdos, and the fun. And that is what Taylor is all about.

So LINE jumped at the opportunity to round out our Women’s team — in addition to TGR Star Hadley Hammer and Olympic Bronze Medalist Kim Lamarre — with one of the best up and coming style-oriented skiers in the game. We shot a few questions her way to see just what exactly she’s all about.

  1. Age: 24
  2. Other Sponsors: Full Tilt, DaKine, Electric
  3. Where are you from? Park City, Utah.
  4. What is your home mountain these days? Brighton Resort

What’s the plan this year? This is a big year for me. Considering it’s an Olympic year, I’ll be attending all of the qualifier events. Hopefully, I can make it Pyeonchang to represent the good ol’ USA. But otherwise, I’ll just be doing what I do every year: skiing, filming and traveling. It’s all for the love of, ya know?!

Why LINE? The first pair of twintips I ever owned were LINE skis. If you know what’s good, you know that LINE is the OG Freestyle Ski Company. You guys have always been in it for the right reasons. There’s a lot of passion for the grassroots, the weird, the fun. And, LINE has always helped support the best content and done their best to share the love of skiing all around the world. These are all the things I care about, and it’s exactly the kind of brand with wich I want to be involved.

Quick hit from Taylor Testing out her new Honey Bees.

Three Things You Love: Tattoos, Sk8boarding, Traveling.

Three Things you hate: Liars, screen addictions, Trump.

Where can we stay up on your stuff? @Taylahhhbrooke

LINE Traveling Circus 10.2: Nordic Skiing

November 14th, 2017 - Posted by willski in Event Coverage

LTC HEADS TO NORWAY!

Earlier this fall, LINE Traveling Circus launched it’s tenth season of production, which, is a lot. Think of how many pizzas have been consumed, miles driven in the van, and bizarre locations these guys have documented over the years. Yet in all that time, there are still places left to be explored, jokes to be made, and tricks to be invented.

Andy And Sami Get Weird In Norway

This past spring, after the #SpringBreak2017, Will Wesson, Andy Parry, and Sami Ortlieb packed up and headed north towards the arctic fjordlands of Norway. In the course of their explorations, they stumbled upon a new world of skiing… and apparently trolls. We’re still not entirely sure what the deal is with that.

Top Notch Visability

But the skiing looks pretty darn nice. Well, nice and wet, at least. With temperatures hovering around freezing point, the TC crew, joined by local shredder Sig Tviet, blast around Folgefonna’s summer park. Which we hear is a gorgeous area. Not that you could tell; it was socked in for almost the entire trip.

Sami takes advantage of some sunny skies

But when you’re a consummate professional — as these guys definitely are — you make something outta nothing. Check out Andy and Sami getting weird, Sig flowing with signature style, and Will bringing the exacting playfulness. Without further ado, here it is! Episode 10.2: Nordic Skiing Part 1. Could Part two seriously come out as early as next week?!

November 10th, 2017 - Posted by Mikiya in Japanese Line News

【Radio】
