Deep from the woods of Fernie, 17 year old Dylan Siggers is carving out a reputation as one of the best young freeskiers in Canada. Take some time, read his words and see his stoke inspiring edits.

Tell us about skiing at your home mountain where you started skiing and where you ski today. Skiing in Fernie is amazing. The hill has almost everything there is to offer. Rails, cliffs,tree skiing, outrageous pow days, The only thing we don’t have is park jumps, so we end up with a lot of cutouts/side booters

How did you get into skiing? My parents were skiers and I started as soon as i could walk, sliding around in the back yard with little tiny skis.

Why do you ski? Skiing is the thing that brings me the most joy in my life. Its one of the only things that I know I will still be doing in 30 years.

What else would you like to say? Line Skis are one of the most legit companies out there and wouldn’t rather ski for anyone else

Max Hill Calling out Cole Drexler

Max Hill recently called out the raw skills and growing reputation of Cole Drexler on SBC Skier’s site. Not only do we get great insight into Cole’s background and how he has moved up through the ranks (with obvious help from his Afterbangs), we also get to see Max’s literary skills. Let us know if that freeskiing thing doesn’t work out for you Max, you can write for us!

But for reals Cole Drexler is legit, so pay attention.

Happy (day after) Canada Day!!!

What did these three crazy Canadians from Montreal do when they ran out of snow? They drove to Hood that’s what! In the first of three installments these guys faced an epic journey past border guards, thunderstorms, Team America and rising gas prices. Thankfully they made it to Hood where they were able to kill it in the park with Afterbangs and put the footage to tight jeans rap. Watch and you’ll understand.
