That’s right, it’s back! Egg Nog chugging, backyard jibs, urban rails, polar plunging and more. Every year Line MC LJ Strenio makes his triumphant return to his homeland of Burlington, Vermont to hang with friends, family and one up his break from the year before. Last year he made it to 8 days, maybe 12 this year, who knows? The one thing you should know is you’ll be entertained beyond your wildest dreams. Happy Holidays from LJ Strenio and Co.
What went down last year:
Day 6 & 7 Combo
The Line Skis Mountain Command Team is a mix of the most talented, unique and individual skiers in the world. How can a bunch of individuals be a team you ask? Their creativity is the bond that connects them, driving the voice of our brand and beating the drum of new ways to look at the mountain, the streets, backcountry and everywhere in between. We’re proud of these riders who every day bring something new to all aspects of skiing. Where there’s snow and enough room to slide on it, you’ll find Line MCs. Enjoy the edit and please purchase/download/watch the films in the list at the end to support the companies that support these riders and help push skiing to new levels.
Line Skis would like to welcome Swedish skier Niklas Eriksson to the LINE Mountain Command Team. From his jump to stardom winning the Level 1 Superunknown ’09 Video Contest joining the Level 1 Productions crew to representing Sweden at the Jon Olsson Super Sessions Niklas has been killing it in Europe. We’re stoked to have him on board and look forward to watching him ski with the style all his own on his brand new Chronic Cryptonites
We gave Will Wesson a goPro camera and said have a good summer, he did. This video is the outcome of a summer of skiing, snowboarding and living at Mt Hood, Oregon with friends.
Freeskier decided to sit down (most likely emailed) with Ian Compton and featured him on their latest installment of ‘Fill in the Blanks Friday’. Not only did Ian give a glimpse into his deeper side, we also found out the secret for his jibtastic moves: Cinnamon Toast Crunch! That is aside from his Chronic Cryptonites.
Read for yourselves HERE to find out if the Beyonce rumors are true, what he eats for breakfast (besides Cinnamon Toast Crunch) and what exactly would he be doing if it weren’t for skiing.
Line Skis were represented well at the annual Freeskier Magazine Park Ski Test. It was held in none other than one of the best parks in the world, Keystone’s Area 51. Check the video of the Chronic Cryptonite, Stepup, Afterbang, Blend, and Shadow in action below.
