LINE SKIS AND NAPSTER AIM TO KEEP MOUNTAIN VIBES HIGH WITH NEW PARTNERSHIP
SEATTLE (January 25, 2017) – Followers of the LINE Traveling Circus series know better than most that a solid soundtrack is just as important as the skiing it’s backing up. Thanks to a new partnership with Napster, now a legit, global music streaming service, LINE aims to make it even easier for fans to find and access the music that’s streamed daily by their favorite brand and pro skiers alike.
Found on both LINEskis.com and Napster’s desktop and mobile apps, fans can enjoy content from a selection of LINE featured skiers. Each athlete will obsessively curate their current favorite tracks into a Napster playlist and publish the selection alongside a bio, photos and their favorite LINE products.
Beginning today, the partnership kicks off with established artist and skier, Eric Pollard, known by many as a key component of LINE’s look and feel. With additional experience in film production and editing, Eric knows a thing or two about selecting cuts for the perfect soundtrack.
In addition to featured playlists, LINE and Napster will host a monthly photo contest through social media that will extend into the summer. Fans will have a chance to submit entries to win select soft goods and ultimately have a chance at a pair of custom-designed skis with graphics by skier and local artist, Charlie Cultrara. Follow @LINEskis and @napster on Instagram and Facebook for rules on entering.
LINE followers can enjoy a free trial of Napster for 30 days, featuring unlimited streaming of millions of songs, radio stations and curated playlists, then $9.99/month after. For more information, please visit LINEskis.com/napster.

Level 1’s Pleasure
It feels good. Slamming into concrete walls, risking the backcountry unknown, being broke on the road… Some would call it hedonistic behavior, we call it living the dream, and this cast of characters delivers a vibrant depiction of this so-called sport of skiing. With a local tourist mentality, the simple joys are found near and far. From India, Switzerland and Japan, to British Columbia, Washington DC, and Alaska, it’s business in the front, party in the back, and no one is phoning it in. Level 1 continues to surprise with another must watch ski film in a lineage of classics, for your viewing PLEASURE
Watch your favorite LINE athletes & more in Level 1 Production’s 17th release, “PLEASURE!”
Will Wesson, Sami Ortlieb, Khai Krepela, LJ Strenio, Rob Heule, Pär Peyben Hägglund, Garrett Russell and friends.
“(Pleasure) should be considered mandatory viewing this season for all ski movie fans. Combing artistry, athleticism, creativity, and a thoughtful theme carried throughout, it’s as tight and as entertaining as a ski film can get. But it’s also propped up with no ego; just having fun and skiing with your friends. Though it’s a simple concept that’s difficult to translate to film, Berman and fellow producers Freedle Coty and Jonny Durst succeed in spades.” – Matt Hansen, Powder Magazine
“It seems year after year Level 1 steps up their films and Pleasure is no exception. This film is pure good times with great skiers filmed in unique locations. I’ve rewatched the film five times.” – Mike Rogge, Outside Online
“Damn, it’s a beautiful example of ski filmmaking. I was really impressed last year by the quality of Small World’s production and Level 1 have taken another step up here.” – Adam Spensley, Newschoolers.com
“We really didn’t know the film would be this awesome, this unique, this crowd-pleasing.” – Freeskier Magazine

WELCOME TO THE LINE SKIS TEAM!
KHAI KREPELA FROM PARK CITY, USA as interviewed by Dylan Siggers
Favorite LINE skis? Honey Badgers (coming fall ’16)
What’s the sickest trick you could do as a 12 year old? Probably a 3, I think that was also the first time I hit a rail.
Number of days not skiing park this year: [Haha] More than usual – spent some time skiing Sun Valley and then a bit of time hitting urban.
What thing are you really bad at…but still do regularly even though you suck? (e.g. Skateboarding) I would like to say I’m a good fisherman but I have a ton to learn.
How many KMs do you have on your van…yes, kilometers. Literally nobody knows how to do that math so it’s impossible to find out. It just tipped over 190,000 miles.
How many nights have you slept in your van this year? Probably around a month. When I got back to Utah from Tell A Friend Tour, I didn’t have a place to live so I was living out of my car for a bit.
Fish eye or long lens? Fish eye… all day.
Jumpz or Railz? [Haha] Rails, I suck at jumps.
PBR or Coors Banquet? In high school, it was PBR all the way – but it’s now Coors.
Best day of skiing in your life? Hiking Pine Cone Ridge with my dad and uncle. One of the most memorable and fun moments of my life.
PÄR “PEYBEN” HÄGGLUND FROM SWEDEN, as interviewed by Andy Parry
Who do you look up to in skiing? Anyone who does shit that hasn’t been done yet or just does something old in a way that makes you think it’s new.
Do you think Will Wesson is a robot? I think there’s a while until we have robots with that much humility!
Whats one thing you like about the US? Panda Express.
Whats one thing you don’t like about the US? That there’s enough stupid people to make a stupid man a presidential candidate.
Who do you think has the best style? Right now, I think Sakarias Majander’s style is hard to beat!
Dogs or cats? Dogs! Cats are not to be trusted…
Do you think video games should be in the X Games? Heeeeell no! X-games is for Xtreme sports E-sports should have a E-games..
Do you do think the X Games is still cool? Yes of course, Henrik is still in it.
Favorite Ski? #bendyourblends
