Blood on the Rails
After stomping this 450 disaster, LJ could have quit for the day. Instead he wanted to make a bigger disaster and ended his season. Photo by Abbott.
“I hate when I fall asleep and I think I’m not going to remember today. I’m sitting here right now, and I’m tucking this away. John Strenio came out on the podium in Whistler for his first major podium of his ski career, beating out top pros and showing he’s a contender in the big air scene. The WSI format is taking over a hundred of the best jumpers in the world and putting them through the paces by making them succumb to days of qualifications, finals, superfinals, fireballs, fire dancers and droves of drunken Japanese tourists and partiers.
